 Marjaleena Lembcke

Marjaleena Lembcke was born in Kokkola, Finland in 1945. She studied sculpture and theatre studies. She has been living in Westphalia, Germany, with her family since 1967. Her books for children and adults have been awarded many prizes, including the Austrian Children’s and Youth Book Prize in 1999 and the hr2 Children’s and Youth Audiobook Prize in 1999.
