| The focus for 2012-13 is Russian
As well as the information service provided by its online magazine, Litrix.de also offers support for translation projects within the context of its focus on a specific language and region which alternates biennially. Our special focus for 2012-13 is Russian. This support is available exclusively for books that are being showcased in Russian at Litrix.de and labeled as such. Targeted support in regions selected for the Litrix.de translation promotion program is an effective means of promoting German literature in those “emerging markets” that have recently begun to demonstrate a particular interest in German literature. This support network reduces publishing risks and creates a positive incentive for literary transfer. The supply-oriented support for translations in the respective target language is intended to complement the Goethe-Institut’s existing support network. Application and Conditions |
